“In commercial vehicle class we have made a strong entry to light truck market in Turkey in 2007 along with Karsan. In the market, which has been dominated by two Japanese companies until this period, we have carried forward our market share to 8 percent in 2008 and to 20 percent in 2009. We couldn’t have achieved this without the commercial and industrial experience of Karsan, its engineering capacity, qualified work force and willingness to work. Our goal is to be one of the leading commercial vehicle brands in Turkey by maintaining our cooperation with Karsan.”

We are continuing our analysis in the surrounding markets. However I am pleased to say that Karsan and Turkey would assume the role of a leaping board for Hyundai for its expansion to the region from the Far East.” said Selek.
